TARGET AUDIENCE // Entrepreneurs, startups, independent professionals and freelancers.

CONCEPT // To create a cohesive brand identity and visual language for a modern Italian restaurant, including logo development, corporate stationery, interior and exterior signage, website design, menu systems, photography, social media presence, and marketing collateral that reflects the restaurant’s warm, contemporary, and elevated dining experience.

DESIGN ISSUES // Establishing a refined yet approachable personality while the restaurant concept, menu vision, and interior design were evolving simultaneously. Explored multiple visual directions to capture the right balance between modern Italian sensibilities and Queen West’s creative, energetic culture during an active build-out and shifting creative inputs.

DESIGN PROCESS // Worked closely with the Bar Altura team over several months. researching competitive restaurant landscapes, testing colour palettes, typography, iconography, and material applications. Conducted on-site visits during construction, collaborated with investors s to align visual identity with culinary philosophy, and developed a flexible brand system that could scale across digital platforms, print menus, wayfinding, environmental graphics, and storytelling photography.
